The Chicks are Hatching

One of the chicks hatched and one is about to hatch.  We can see the chick breathing and its feathers.  It was pushing all afternoon.   I think after school it will hatch and we will see two chicks in the morning.

The colors of the chicken eggs can be white and brown.  If it is brown, the hen’s earlobe is red.  If the egg is white the hen’s earlobe is white.

The incubator gives moisture to the eggs, heats the eggs, and gives oxygen to the eggs and chicks. We must keep the tempreature at 100 degrees and must turn the eggs so the chick doesn’t stick to one side.
